Brushed Brass Organic is an untreated living brass finish with a fine, linear texture created using a coarse polishing wheel. Its warm golden tone and softly brushed surface give the finish a natural, tactile quality. Over time, the brass will mature and develop greater depth, variation and patinated character, with each piece evolving differently according to its environment and use.

As a living finish, Brushed Brass Organic will continue to change over time. Areas that are regularly handled will gradually lighten to a warmer golden tone, while less frequently touched areas will naturally darken. Water marking, spotting and green oxidation are expected characteristics of untreated brass and form part of the finish’s evolving appearance.

Individual components may vary when supplied and will continue to patina differently over time. Factors including climate, exposure, handling, cleaning and waxing will all influence how the finish develops. For projects requiring a more consistent brushed brass appearance with minimal ageing, we recommend Brushed Nordic Brass from our PVD finish range.
